I’m Kirsten Murray: editor, writer,
and proofreader for hire, specialising
in comics and graphic novels.

Dedicated to working hard with creators and clients to ensure their projects become the best they can be, I have
had a life-long love of comics and
entertainment.

Friendly, devoted, and reliable, I can create engaging and innovative content quickly. I pay close attention to detail and ensure high-quality results are delivered on time with readers always
in mind.

Having gained industry experience working in-house at Titan Comics and DC Thomson, I have a great grounding in the publishing industry and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Wordpress.

Keeping my finger on the pop-culture pulse, I am a copy editor for the Eisner Award nominated website, Women Write About Comics, and junior editor and writer for their sister site, Ms En Scene. I have contributed articles, interviews, reviews, and features to a number of websites, magazines, blogs, and books.

Qualified with a joint honours degree in English Literature and History from the University of Glasgow, as well as a Masters degree in Comics Studies from the University of Dundee, I have a real passion for language and creativity.

Currently based in Aberdeen, Scotland,
I enjoy roller derby, craft beer, and live/loud music when I am not working on projects.

You can find me lurking at comic cons, in bookshops, or on social media.
