I’m Kirsten Murray: editor, writer,
and proofreader, specialising in
comics and graphic novels.

Dedicated to working hard with creators to ensure their projects become the best they can be, I have had a life-long love of comics and graphic novels.

Qualified with an Undergraduate joint honours degree in English Literature and History from the University of Glasgow, as well as a Masters degree in Comics Studies from the University of Dundee, I have a real passion for language, comics, and creativity.

I have worked as an assistant editor at Titan Comics in London, as well as both commissioning editor and Heritage Brands editor at DC Thomson in Dundee, giving me a great grounding in the publishing industry.

Keeping my finger on the pop-culture pulse, I am a copy editor for the Eisner Award nominated website, Women Write About Comics, and Junior Editor for their sister site, Ms En Scene. I’m also a member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders.

Currently based in Aberdeen, Scotland,
I enjoy roller derby, craft beer, and live/loud music when I am not working on projects.

You can find me lurking at comic cons, in bookshops, or on social media.
